Deborah K. Martinez, 56, Cook, passed away May 7, 2017 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Deborah was born January 14, 1961 in Blythe, Arizona to parents John Wayne Townsend and Billie Ruth Harrison.
Deborah’s life began when she fell in love and married Ronnie Martinez Sr. Together they raised their two sons Justin and Ronnie Jr. Her life revolved around her husband and her boys and she wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. She was an amazing mother, devoting her time and attention to whatever was happening in their lives. Deborah’s home was the gathering place for Justin and Ronnie’s friends as Deborah was known to be a very good cook. Raising her boys proved exciting and challenging at times but, you would never find a mother that loved her boys as much. Deborah was a loving mother but, she shined even brighter once her grandchildren came along. Shea, Aaron and Justin Jr. kept her busy and she never failed to shower them with affection and undoubtedly spoil them every Christmas and birthday.
Deborah never knew a stranger. Anyone that knew Deborah instantly loved her. She had an enormous heart and a giving nature. She would be the first to help when needed and it didn’t matter who was asking for it.
Deborah was an animal lover but, she reserved most all of her love to her dog Booboo. He was her pride and joy and the two were rarely out of each others presence.
Deborah will be remembered for her infinite gift of love and her generosity towards family and friends. She was an amazing mother and an even more amazing Grandmother! Her family naturally will grieve her passing but, they find comfort in the knowledge that she will once again be held in the arms of her husband. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter and memories that will never be forgotten.
She will be missed by all those who loved her and whom she loved in return.
